Van der Tol & Bos was founded in 2024, when Rens van der Tol and Zeger Bos connected through their shared passion for design. They envisioned a brand that could go against mass production with original design and craftsmanship. By combining unique materials and an engineer’s eye for detail, they defy trends to develop timeless pieces.

Zeger’s work explores how material, shape and history influence the way we feel in a space. Inspired by classic interior, his pieces are designed slowly, by hand — to quietly anchor a room, not dominate it.
With years of experience in designing and handcrafting interior pieces, his approach is rooted in quality.
Rens van der Tol
When studying to be an engineer, I always focused on being as technical and efficient as possible. My creativity was often set aside. In 2023, I decided it was time for a change and began designing on my own. I went on to experiment with materials and combinations of shapes and styles. This sparked the passion that I now have for designing and creating.
Through this passion, Zeger and I started working together. Our passion for design and very different styles make us a truly unique duo. We differ, which always adds new perspectives to the design process, resulting in creations that reflect both our visions.
