LINOK

Originally created in 2023, this design marks the beginning of a new series. With its warm light and French oak, it creates an inviting and relaxed atmosphere in any space.

The designers envisioned a lamp that could illuminate a room without being too assertive or overwhelming. Thanks to its multi-directional lighting and organic materials, the Linok can set the mood from any point in the room.

The Linok is the first in a growing family of designs. The almost symbiotic relationship between oak and linen inspired the designers to explore new material combinations. More designs are on the way, challenging the way we experience lighting.

Through the designers’ vision, materials begin to take on a life of their own.
LINOK is a composition of solid oak and the soft, diffused light that passes through woven linen. The organic materials create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, balanced by both curved and clean architectural lines in the woodwork.

LINOK is the first of its kind. By exploring the interaction between different materials, new and unexpected forms begin to emerge. This is where the collaboration between designers Van der Tol & Bos shows its strength: each with their own distinct style, they combine perspectives to create pieces that defy easy categorisation — design that moves between disciplines, and beyond trends.
